Where do you fall?

Asexuality and some things you need to know

  • Aces may or may not have sex.
  • Aces may or may not experience arousal.
  • Aces may or may not masturbate.
  • Aces may or may not possess sexual desire.
  • Aces may or may not desire relationships.

Sensual attraction is not sexual attraction. Sensual attraction can be expressed through intimacy with another person in a tactile emotional way, such as via cuddling or holding hands, and may not necessarily be tethered to sexual attraction.

Most ace people experience attraction to others, whether romantic, aesthetic, sensual, emotional, and/or intellectual. Attraction can exist beyond sex, and a lack of sexual attraction does not necessarily mean a lack of attraction overall.

The majority of the ace community defines their asexuality by a lack of sexual attraction.
